We’re not just testing AI. We’re putting it into practice.

Our artificial intelligence strategy — and what we expect from anyone wishing to work with us. AI is not a project in the pipeline at EPUNTO or Global Manager Iberia: it is the way we already work.

The LIQUID build

Our artificial intelligence strategy — and what we expect from anyone wishing to work with us.

EPUNTO Interim Management is Global Manager Iberia’s flagship brand and the group’s most sought-after division. That is why, every week, we receive dozens of messages — via email and LinkedIn — from individuals and companies offering to help us ‘integrate artificial intelligence’ into our business: in sales, infrastructure, security, legal affairs and talent management.

We genuinely appreciate the interest. And that is why we are writing this article: to set the record straight once and for all, transparently and without beating about the bush, about where we stand. Because the short answer is that AI is not a pending project at EPUNTO or within the group. It is the way we already work.

The long answer is this article.

What we’re doing, area by area

We do not use AI as an assistant to be consulted from time to time, nor have we added it as a cosmetic layer on top of business as usual. We have integrated it into our day-to-day operations and the services we provide to our clients:

  • Talent management and leadership. Interim management and assignments in project management are at the heart of EPUNTO. AI speeds up what we do — analysis, documentation, monitoring, assessment — without diluting the professional judgement that sets us apart: the decision still lies with people.
  • Sales and marketing. We operate our own tools for sales management, analytics and positioning. AI handles the repetitive work—monitoring, classification, analysis—and leaves the judgement and relationship-building to people, which is where they add value.
  • Software and systems development. The group builds and operates its own end-to-end AI systems—from design through to production deployment—under the guidance of senior architects. These are not prototypes or proof-of-concepts: they are in production, delivering services every day.
  • Infrastructure and operations. Our cloud operates as code: automated and reproducible deployments, domain governance, backups and business continuity plans. AI is not an add-on; it is part of the team that keeps all of this up and running.
  • Security. With an ISO 27001-compliant information security management system currently being implemented, we apply AI to triage, monitoring and response. Always in an additive way: it accelerates and amplifies, but never replaces human oversight in critical areas.
  • Legal and compliance. We work with traceability as standard and with compliance built in from the design stage, not as an afterthought: GDPR, ISO 27001 and the European Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act). When we release an AI that converses with people, we state this clearly.
  • Knowledge. We have our own engine that searches our document repository with role-based access control, as well as conversational assistants integrated into our products and websites.

None of these areas is a stand-alone initiative. They are integrated with one another, share data and reinforce each other: that is what turns a collection of tools into a strategy.

What sets us apart

Anyone can launch a chatbot and claim it ‘uses AI’. The difficult part — and what we’ve been methodically building for months — is the other aspect: a way of running the business that is AI-native. A well-governed environment, end-to-end automated processes, in-house systems that communicate with one another, and one rule we won’t compromise on: traceability and human oversight.

Everything the AI does within our group is logged, auditable and accountable to a person with a full name. We do not delegate critical decisions to a black box. The AI proposes, executes what has been agreed and documents; people direct, validate and take responsibility.

That is why we do not chase the latest trend simply because it is new. We ensure it works, complies with regulations and stands up to an audit. It is less flashy but far more robust.

And we’ve turned it into a product

What we have built since 2025 has not remained behind closed doors. It has worked so well that we have taken the most difficult step: distilling our best practices and encapsulating them in a dedicated business line within the group, so that our clients can access this know-how rather than having to navigate the same learning curve on their own — and through costly mistakes — that we have already navigated.

That division is The LIQUID build, the group’s brand dedicated to software, security and AI-powered systems. Its purpose is not to sell generic development hours, but to make available to every client the way of working that we already use successfully within the group — our own systems, automation, data governance and certifiable traceability — industrialised and ready to go. We’ve turned years of in-house learning into a service that a client can adopt from day one.

The LIQUID build

In other words: we don’t just tell you what could be done with AI. We give you access to what we’re already doing, every day, in production.

Our policy regarding suppliers and partners

From all of the above, it naturally follows how we decide who to work with. We only enter into partnerships that meet one of these two principles:

  1. That they use AI better than we do. If, in your field of expertise, you handle artificial intelligence at a higher level than we do and can demonstrate this with facts, we’re very interested: you raise our standards, and that’s exactly what we look for in a partner. We don’t want them to match us; we want them to make us better.
  2. Or that they use our AI. If your proposal is built on our platforms, our tech stack or our methods — extending and building on what we already have, rather than suggesting we start from scratch — let’s talk.

To put it another way, and please don’t take this the wrong way: if the offer is to ‘bring AI’ to a company that doesn’t yet use it, that’s not us. That ship sailed a long time ago. We’d rather be honest now and save you — and us — a conversation that wouldn’t lead anywhere.

It’s not arrogance. It’s focus. We receive too many proposals to spend time on those based on a premise that is no longer true.

If you’re a good fit

If you fall under Principle 1 or Principle 2, tell us about it with evidence: what you do, how you measure it, and why you think it makes us better. You can write to us via the contact form on this website.

To everyone else, our sincere thanks for thinking of us. We hope this article helps you understand why we aren’t taking things further — and perhaps to rethink your proposal from an angle that does fit.
