EPUNTO, the world’s first AENOR-certified interim management services firm

Global Manager Spain has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification, which covers its two business lines, EPUNTO Interim Management and LIQUID Smart Technologies, thereby reinforcing the company’s position as a leader in Spain in new ways of working.

Prudencio Herrero, Director of AENOR Castilla y León (Spain), has officially presented Emilio del Prado, CEO of Global Manager Spain and Managing Partner of EPUNTO Interim Management, with his ISO 9001:2015 certification, the most comprehensive, rigorous and widely recognised quality management standard in the world.

The certification, for which the audit was exemplary as there were no ‘non-conformities’, represents a further step towards Global Manager Spain’s leadership in the field of new ways of working, as it covers Executive Interim Management (EPUNTO Interim Management) and technological consultancy and digitalisation services (LIQUID Smart Technologies). The growth the company has experienced in recent years, driven by its international expansion and a steadfast commitment to service based on excellence, made it necessary to take a further step in this direction.

Emilio del Prado said upon receiving the certification from the director of AENOR in Castilla y León – the Spanish region where EPUNTO Interim Management was founded in 2010 –:

“The ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS), used by more than one million organisations worldwide, will help us meet our customers’ high expectations. Achieving the highest quality standards has been a fundamental principle since the company was founded”.

For his part, the head of AENOR in Castile and León, Prudencio Herrero, a recognised expert in the field of quality, expressed his satisfaction “at having processed, through his delegation, the first ISO 9001:2015 certification for a company specialising in interim management services, a sector that is growing at a steady pace in Spain”. He also noted that AENOR has more than 1,000 employees across the 87 countries in which it operates, a network on which Global Manager Spain can rely as it pursues its international expansion project—a project in which the company, founded and led by the Castilian and Leonese businessman Emilio del Prado, is currently engaged.
