EPUNTO, the world’s first interim management services firm to be certified by AENOR

Global Manager Spain has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification, which covers both its business lines, EPUNTO Interim Management and LIQUID Smart Technologies, thereby reinforcing the company’s position as a leader in Spain in new ways of working.

Prudencio Herrero, Director of AENOR Castilla y León (Spain), has officially presented Emilio del Prado, CEO of Global Manager Spain and Managing Partner of EPUNTO Interim Management, with his ER ISO 9001:2015 certification, the most comprehensive, rigorous and widely recognised quality management standard in the world.

The certification, the audit for which was exemplary as no ‘non-conformities’ were identified, represents a further step towards Global Manager Spain’s leadership in the field of new ways of working, as it encompasses Executive Interim Management services (EPUNTO Interim Management) and technology consultancy and digitalisation services (LIQUID Smart Technologies). The growth the company has experienced in recent years, driven by its international expansion and an unwavering commitment to service based on excellence, called for taking a further step in that direction.

Upon receiving the certification from the director of AENOR in Castile and León – the Spanish region where EPUNTO Interim Management was founded in 2010 – Emilio del Prado stated:

“The ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), used by over a million organisations worldwide, will help us meet our clients’ high expectations. Achieving the highest quality standards has been an essential principle since the company’s foundation.”

For his part, the head of AENOR in Castile and León, Prudencio Herrero, a recognised expert in the field of quality, expressed his satisfaction “at having processed, through his branch, the first ISO 9001:2015 certification for a company specialising in interim management services, a sector that is growing at a steady pace in Spain”. He also pointed out that AENOR has more than 1,000 employees across the 87 countries in which it operates, and on whom Global Manager Spain can rely as part of the international expansion project currently being undertaken by the company, which was founded and is led by Emilio del Prado, an entrepreneur from Castile and León.

The project to implement the ISO 9001 quality management system has been co-financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Regional Government of Castile and León, through the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castile and León (ICE), with the aim of creating a more digitally competitive business sector.
