Our response to the floods in Valencia

EPUNTO Interim Management offers affected businesses a free guidance and support service to help them resume their activities.

In light of the serious consequences of the flooding caused by the DANA in the province of Valencia, we are deeply saddened by the scale of the tragedy. Our hearts go out to the thousands of families affected, and all of us at EPUNTO Interim Management, both as individuals and to the best of our ability, are actively joining the support and solidarity initiatives being led by the wider civil society.

The key priority now is to meet the basic needs of those affected and to help them restore a degree of normality to their lives as soon as possible. We also believe that the restoration of economic activity for the affected businesses is among the other priorities to be considered in this return to normality. This is where we can be of use and offer our specific assistance, which is why we are launching this free initiative and placing ourselves entirely at your disposal.

Owing to the dynamism and significance of Valencian businesses, the impact of the floods is triggering a chain reaction affecting the whole of the country (and in some cases, internationally), with consequences for the customers and suppliers of the affected businesses.

We offer a free advisory service

Therefore, if you hold a position of responsibility in a company affected by the flooding—primarily industrial businesses in the industrial estates and business parks of Valencia, in the municipalities of Torrent, Picanya, Paiporta, Alfafar, or in other areas also affected— we can offer you a free (pro bono) support and advisory service (senior advisor) to assist you with activities such as, amongst others:

• Participation in and advice for crisis management committees.
• Advice on contingency plans.
• Identifying temporary alternative production sites.
• Support with the temporary relocation of production staff.
• Advice on the reactivation of alternative information systems.
• Advice on logistics alternatives.
• Any other support and advice aimed at accelerating the resumption of economic activity.
